We were invited to submit proposals for a major new exhibition space at Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry, within the Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings of the world's first railway station. Our response to this challenging brief was to focus on clear and intuitive circulation, with a dramatic central foyer linking the many levels of the complex, from the raised track to the vaults two storeys below.
