We are developing a regeneration and public realm strategy for two miles of seafront in Felixstowe, stretching from Undercliff to Landguard Point. While the seafront stretching northwards has seen improvements over the recent years, the south seafront has areas of vibrant activity but also sites which would benefit from improvements to help them achieve their full potential.

We are developing a range of proposals that will explore the potential opportunities for redesigning the Edwardian gardens to create more usable, active and varied spaces; new lighting along the promenade; reclaiming space for events and outdoor activities; and streetscape redesign to make a greener and more attractive environment for all ages.
