We have worked with Hythe Forward, Essex's first Community Land Trust, in the Hythe area of our home town Colchester. In partnership with Colne Housing, the CLT aims to enable change and develop assets in the area, formerly the port of Colchester and now a fragmented but fascinating area of industry, commerce and housing.

We undertook a social and cultural mapping exercise to reveal the hidden character and assets of the area, and highlight gaps in local provision in order to inform what new projects could seek to provide, from social infrastructure to business incubator space. We continued to advise Hythe Forward on site options and the development of a new masterplan.
