Our work at Redbridge Town Hall is a GLA Good Growth Fund project and finished on site at the end of 2019. We delivered the conversion of several spaces in the Grade 2 listed Town Hall into arts project space and workspace, in partnership with SPACE Studios who have an initial five year lease.

Some of the spaces that we have repurposed had been neglected and unsympathetically maintained for many years and we have restored them pragmatically and inexpensively, ensuring that key features such as roof lanterns, decorative tiling and floors are celebrated in the new spaces.

We have taken a practical approach building on our understanding of the small business and creative business sectors and tenant requirements - understanding that less is typically more, that tenants prefer 'shell' space to which they can add their own touches rather than an over-specified 'interior design'.
